What is the difference between the Gold & Purple Sea Moss?

Sea Moss is naturally a red/brown/purple colour. Sea Moss is very light sensitive, when dried in the sun it turns gold. The purple Sea Moss is dried in dark rooms. Both colours of Sea Moss will give you the same benefits, however, the purple Sea Moss contains more nutrients than the gold due to the drying process from the sun.

The main difference between the Gold & Purple Sea Moss is that the purple contains a powerful antioxidant called “anthocyanin”.  Anthocyanin is a pigment that gives it’s colour.  Commonly found in purple and blue fruits & vegetables. Anthocyanins aids in building stronger bones and reduces inflammation. The Gold Sea Moss is tasteless compared to Purple.

All packaging where possible is 100% recyclable. Our materials are both compostable & biodegradable. Our Gel is packaged in glass jars and the Dried Sea Moss is packaged in resealable kraft paper bags.
