Bladderwrack

Fucus Vesiculosus, commonly known as Bladderwrack is another type of sea weed and is found on the coasts of the North Sea (Pacific Ocean). This sea weed has so many amazing health benefits. It contains Alginic Acid, a dietary fiber which helps with constipation, relieves diarrhoea and keeps your bowel movements more regular in general. Bladderwrack being a powerful source of iodine helps to treat many types of thyroid disorders and used to treat goitre, a swelling of the thyroid gland. Bladderwrack helps with weight loss, reduces inflammation and pain. It may also relieve bloating and cramping.

Burdock Root
Burdock Root comes from the burdock plant which is related to sunflowers and is part of the daisy family. It is the root of the plant that is primarily used for healthy skin, soothes skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, weight loss, fights arthritis, promotes a healthy liver, rids kidney & gallbladder stones and lowers blood sugar levels. Burdock Root is a powerhouse of antioxidants.

Burdock Root also alkalizes the body and fights off bacteria, this is because Burdock Root is an extremely powerful and electrical blood purifier/cleanser.

Although the scent & taste is tougher you’ll reap the most benefits of this mixture with the amazing addition of Bladderwrack & Burdock Root.

Ingredients:

· Bladderwrack & Burdock Root

We prepare our Sea Moss with lime juice. This reduces the oceanic scent and taste. Our gel is very smooth with an “applesauce-type” texture and is easy to swallow.
· No added preservatives
· No added salt

Directions:
· Sea Moss Gel must be refrigerated overnight upon arrival before consumption
· Sea Moss Gel must then be refrigerated at all times
· Take 1 to 4 tablespoons daily

All gels in general have a 3-4 week best before date.  Sea Moss is from the ocean, therefore, it will go off. We make our gels fresh, they are couriered the same day.  We give a 3 week best before date, however, with proper storage it may last longer. Ensure to always refrigerate, avoid food contamination, keep the lid tight and no double-dipping. Refrigeration temperatures should be 2-3°c.

Always remember to stay hydrated – Start your day with a glass of water. 8 glasses a day is recommended!

What is the difference between the Gold & Purple Sea Moss?

Sea Moss is naturally a red/purple colour. Sea Moss is very light sensitive, when dried in the sun it turns gold. The purple Sea Moss is dried in dark rooms. Both colours of Sea Moss will give you the same benefits, however, the purple Sea Moss contains more nutrients than the gold due to the drying process from the sun.

The main difference between the Gold & Purple Sea Moss is that the purple contains a powerful antioxidant called “anthocyanin”.  Anthocyanin is a pigment that gives it’s colour. Commonly found in purple and blue fruits & vegetables. Anthocyanins aids in building stronger bones and reduces inflammation. The Gold Sea Moss is tasteless compared to Purple.
