Our Sea Moss is imported directly from Saint Lucia 🇱🇨 

Saint Lucia Sea Moss is wildcrafted fresh from the Atlantic Ocean in the Caribbean Sea and ethically sourced fresh off the coast of Saint Lucia. These waters are normally constantly flowing in open currents and they tend to be much clearer waters too.

Our Sea Moss is 100% natural and harvested from unpolluted ocean water and allowed to dry in the sun.

We ship every Tuesday and Thursday.

The courier service used is NZ Post with available track & trace.

Please be advised all Sea Moss Gel is made fresh upon order. Allow 2-3 days of processing before your order is shipped out.

Orders close midday the day before shipping day.

Courier: target is overnight.

Please allow an extra day for RURAL delivery.

Overnight Courier is once your order has been despatched, not after you’ve placed your order with us.

Gels – Please ensure to refrigerate your gel overnight before consumption once you receive it. Gels must be refrigerated at all times. 

Due to the nature of our product, we aim for overnight courier so you can get your gel in the fridge as soon as possible. However, at times our courier service may come across delays that are out of our control. Please be assured, our Sea Moss is grown in warm waters and does withstand the transit period. 

Please be advised, it is the Sea Moss that holds all the minerals and nutrients NOT the consistency. Transit may change the consistency. Remember to refrigerate overnight, this helps bring the gel back to the right consistency.

Sea Moss is NOT a shellfish. It is a red marine algae used as an emulsifier, stabiliser or thickener in a variety of foods. It is SAFE for most people with food allergies. We clean our Sea Moss thoroughly removing any sea debris or foreign matter.

As Sea Moss is from the ocean, we do note an allergen warning on all our labels.

Allergens: May contain traces of Molluscs

Sea Moss is safe & suggested for babies & children.

Signs of spoilage include an odd pungent smell with a sour aroma. Any grey like watery consistency is also a sign of spoilage. 

Proper storage is imperative. Always keep refrigerated.

Gel – Always refrigerate overnight before consuming once you receive your gel. Keep refrigerated at all times for up to 4 weeks. Temperature must be 2-3°c.

Ensure no other food contamination comes into contact with gels. Ensure the lid is tight. No double-dipping.

Our gels are made fresh and couriered the same day.

We do give a 3 week best before date on our Gels, however, it can last up to 4 weeks pending good storage.

You can freeze gel for up to 3 months. Place gel in an ice-cube tray then freeze (do not store in glass jar).

Raw/Dried – Keep in a cool & dry environment. Can be stored for up to 2 years.

If any spoilage or leakage occurs from transit, you must notify Sea Moss New Zealand within 48 hours of the package delivered.

Gels cannot be left unrefrigerated and must be put into the fridge once you receive it via courier.

If you find your gel spoiled, check your fridge temperature and don’t double-dip.

Proper refrigeration is imperative in maintaining the life of your Sea Moss Gel. Refrigeration temperatures should be approximately 2-3°c. Please keep in mind that older fridges and overfilled fridges are harder to keep at a set temp.

Food contamination, double dipping & not sealing your lid properly can attribute to spoilage.

Results vary from person to person.

Some customers notice immediate results.

Adults can take up 2-4T per day.

Warning: If you have thyroid issues, please seek medical advice. We only recommend 1-2T per day. Sea Moss has plentiful Iodine.

Wildcrafted Sea Moss soaked in lime juice then simply mixed with spring water.

There are 15Tablespoons in a 400ml jar.

There are 27Tablespoons in a 750ml jar.

Sea Moss is great for an expectant mother. By adding our Gold or Purple Sea Moss to your diet you will find this superfood has amazing benefits. It is beneficial for iron-deficiency, can help combat fatigue,  anaemia and balance your metabolism.

The RDI for Iodine in pregnancy is 220mg – per day. Whilst breastfeeding is 270mg –  per day. (According to Food Standards Australia New Zealand).

Warning: Do not consume the Bladderwrack infused gel due to the higher concentration of iodine content.

ALWAYS consult your doctor before use.

The consistency may thin or become watery during transit, but don’t worry, it will hold all its nutrients.

It is the seamoss that has plentiful minerals & vitamins, not the consistency.

Upon arrival, refrigerate your Sea Moss Gel overnight before consumption.

There are extensive global studies and information on Sea Moss. Sea Moss is safe to consume. There are no detailed medical research but please be assured Sea Moss is 100% natural without any binders, preservatives or fillers. 

All seaweeds(moss) are washed following harvest, and this can remove surface-adhering hazards, such as microorganisms and biotoxin-producing dinoflagellates.

Soaking of seamoss in water, with or without heat, has been shown to decrease the inorganic arsenic and iodine levels of seamoss by up to 60 and 90%, respectively.

Those who are sensitive to Iodine, have an overactive thyroid or has chronic low blood pressure. 

Red seaweed(moss) has naturally occurring Iodine, brown seaweed(moss) generally has a higher concentration of Iodine.

Soaking of seamoss in water, with or without heat, has been shown to decrease the inorganic arsenic and iodine levels of seamoss by up to 60 and 90%, respectively.
